Bengaluru, Feb 7 (NationPress) Andhra Pradesh has once again showcased their superiority in blind cricket by triumphing in the 7th edition of the Nagesh Trophy Men’s National T20 Cricket Tournament for the Blind 2024-25.

In an exhilarating final at Altiore Sports Oval, Andhra Pradesh dominated Delhi with an impressive performance, securing victory by a significant margin.

Batting first, Andhra Pradesh amassed a colossal total of 254/1 in 20 overs, with Ajay Kumar Reddy leading the charge with a blistering 104 off just 45 balls. In reply, Delhi fell short, posting 184/9 in their allotted overs, despite commendable efforts from their middle order. Durga Rao Tompaki earned the title of Player of the Match for his outstanding contribution.

During the post-match presentation, CABI Chairman Dr Mahantesh G. Kivadasannavar praised both teams for their remarkable sportsmanship and highlighted the tournament’s significance in empowering visually impaired cricketers.
